The altered position of a 20 HP rear universal joint lubricator.

ALTERED POSITION OF 20 HP. REAR
UNIVERSAL JOINT LUBRICATOR.

N.sch.1456, in conjunction with modified Battery Box
to Drg. F.53198.

N.sch.1456 was originally fitted to 6-G-11 and has since run 17,590 miles satisfactorily. Its position on the propeller shaft however, unfortunately brought it immediately opposite the terminal box situated on the side of battery box, necessitating a new position for this to safely clear the lubricator.

Drawing F.53198 has now been issued showing this altered position, and the full scheme has just been fitted satisfactorily on 7-G-11.

There is therefore now no reason why this should not be immediately standardised, no running troubles having been experienced.
