2. Drawing No. B.155 shews the brake magnet as I would propose to make it. The coils will be rigidly held without them actually touching the case. Articulated connections between moving core and dashpot plunger rod would be fitted with a loose head and this would permit assembling of piston without the encumbrance of bottom cast iron base casting. I am placing an order with Sankeys for .014 Stalloy Stampings for fixed and moving cores, as they want 4 weeks for delivery.
