Mr. Hancock from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

It has now been agreed that the S3. shall be put into production and material ordered immediately.

We can therefore settle down to our job of WORK.

We are proposing to prepare a list for the Works shewing which parts we think are absolutely safe to proceed with, another list which shews parts which should be proceeded with slowly, a further list of parts which should be held up.

We should be very glad if you would give us your views on how the parts should be classified.

I feel rather concerned about the failure of the central lubrication on 18-EX. I think we should prove that it is the filters becoming stopped up on the drip plugs which caused the failure. I feel there must be a very good reason for Bijur recommending pumping every 50 miles. As there is no pressure on the oil after it leaves the drip plug, if a shackle once becomes rusty, it is possible the oil will never get through.

We should like you to contd :-
