Copy to Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} γ 1110 Experimental Department 18th January 1937. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Smth.17/AP. Messrs Borg & Beck Co.Ltd., Tachbrook Road, LEAMINGTON SPA. For the attention of Mr.H.T. Barker. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter and quotations of the 8th inst., addressed to Mr.Royce and which have been passed on to the writer. We have always been under the impression that it would be a convenience to your goodselves if we changed over to the ventilated clutch, since at the moment we are practically your only customer taking the old type, and are somewhat surprised that you are asking for an extra 5/7d. for the 10.A.6. and 5/4d. for the 11.A.6. clutches. Perhaps you could come over to discuss this matter. We should also like to know the difference in price between the cross cushion plate and the standard variety. Yours Faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
