Dear Sirs, We beg to refer you to our communication of the 25th. ult., regarding the above which letter we have understood indirectly has been passed over to Messrs. Lucas. During a conversation however, we had with Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} Watson it was stated on Messrs. Lucas behalf that they would much rather that any technical discussion regarding the C.A.V. 3.2 regulator should take place direct with your technical representatives at Acton. We should be much obliged therefore if you will inform us what date would be most convenient for us to come over for the purpose of such discussion. The more important points we wish to mutually discuss are:- (a) Dynamo field current limits. (b) Possible regulator series winding shunts. (c) Commutator sparking under full load at 13 volts at high speeds. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
