Torque reaction and vibration testing after fitting a rubber block to the dash.

Rubber block fitted to dash and torque taken through this, slight improvement noticeable but not very marked. Engine then single point mounted at the front, rubber mountings at the rear left as before. LEVER ON CYL: HEAD RUBBER BLOCK ON DASH Torque reaction very appreciably better resolving itself into two periods, the worst at 16 m.p.h. felt up the steering column which vibrates as a whole. The second at 22 m.p.h. felt on the dash but does not cause a forced vibration on the column. Coupling the rubber block up makes an appreciable difference to the visible engine movement but does not reduce the vibrations felt in the colume or driving seat to any extent.
