P.III SUSPENSION.

Sales are complaining that the P.III suspension is inadequately damped. The present front shock absorbers cannot have their loads increased due to hydraulic knocks. A new damper to N.Sch.4946 which overcomes this trouble is in process of standardisation (Sheet P.8).

It would appear from the attached that modifications to the damper can be introduced at the same time as the overdrive gearbox (101 in D) without a great deal of scrap.

Would it be possible for you to let us know the amount of scrap involved on Tuesday next, when Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} visits the Works ?
