Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 23rd inst.

EFC4/T. re accumulators. With regard to the capacity of the 9 plate sections, we took two of these at random which are identical with those you have. The first discharge showed 45 amp.hours, the second 52 and the 3rd. 58 1/2. The fourth one we have not yet got as our recording ameter has gone wrong - when it has been repaired we will send you the curves as promised.

With regard to the separate cells we think they should be entirely separate and not lightly stack together but we are going into the matter and will write you further after going into it at our works.

Having separate cells will mean some sort of cell to cell connection; and we must see what can be devised so as to make sure they will not corrode or come loose. Have you any wished as to this point?

Would you care to have cable lengths on each cell and connect the cells together by the same type of connection that
