APPLICATION OF GOSHAWK ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TO 6EX. X3923
WITH THE EXCEPTION OF GOSHAWK STARTER MOTOR AND SWITCH.

The electrical arrangement of the wiring will be the same as for the Goshawk, i.e. the negative terminal of the battery earthed, except that the Goshawk starter motor and switch will not be used. In place of these, 40/50 starter motor and 40/50 main switch, actuator box and push button switch will be used. The actuator box and main switch should be those arranged for series connection, the main switch having four independent terminals, two for the heavy current and two for the actuator current.

The starter motor will be connected in the heavy lead from the battery and the main switch in the positive lead. [Handwritten insertion: one terminal will be earthed] A connection will be taken from the Klaxon and body lighting terminal of the Goshawk distribution board, first to the push button switch, next to the actuator box, and finally to the main switch actuator current terminals all in series. Or, if more convenient, the main switch coil can be included in the series circuit before the actuator box. The end of this series circuit will be earthed to the chassis frame.
