1030 700 SECRET To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} 10.10.39. Re Myth We thought that you might be interested in the par- ticulars enclosed herewith of the new "Austin 12". In many ways the "myth" is almost identical, for we have now been able to re- duce the wheelbase from 9ft to 8ft 9ins. The lavish specification seems to shew that we shall not be able to leave things off in the interests of weight and cost. We appreciate that the car is an Austin, and that it will have the characteristics of the breed, and that the weight is rather high, though we may do well to equal it. It is one of the latest of the British products, and we suggest that we might like to try one, if not to buy one. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
