Dear Sirs,

With reference to your X/LGT16 of the 29th inst we thank you for your remarks therein.

Apparently you have not tested the effects of wind-pressure at high speeds (above 70 m.p.h.) on the speed of the wipers.

In order to definitely establish the fact we are arranging to carry out special speed tests of the wiper and will time its operation under varying conditions and at high speeds, as soon as we can conveniently arrange it after receipt of the modified wiper.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
