Dear Dr. Shearwood,

Thank you for your report on Pattinson's progress. He seems to be taking hold of the job a little bit now, and I hope that as the weather improves his progress will be more rapid.

I should be glad if you could give me any indication as to when you think he might reasonably be expected to resume his work as a tester, which means light manual work.
