| Sr/GOI/FAW 18.5.36 To Rolls-Royce Ltd Derby To Mr West Copy to D/BP Handwritten: 86116. We acknowledge receipt of your telegram of 16th inst. reading PLEASE SEND HALLS BENTLEY LAMPS URGENT and would add that this telegram was passed on to us this morning by Mr Parsons. We are pleased to inform you that we have just obtained delivery of the headlamps complete with covers and centre lamps from the Marchal Co and we are arranging to despatch these to you per Grande Vitesse, carriage forward, through the General Transport Co. We understand that there has been some delay at the Marchal Co in completing these lamps, owing to the grids not being ready; and in order to give you satisfaction, we have made arrangements for the grids to follow as soon as they can be delivered to us. We attach to D/BP's copy of this memo our Pro Forma invoice covering these items, which we trust you will have no difficulty in clearing through Customs. Sr/go. lms | ||
