We beg to advise you that we have this day despatched per goods train.
carriage paid the undermentioned goods to your order addressed to Fowler Clark Esq., c/o above.
IMPORTANT.
We accept no liability for loss or damage in transit on goods consigned "carriage forward".
In the case of consignments sent "carriage paid" all goods should be examined before the Carriers delivery sheet is signed and in the case of any loss or damage same should be noted on the delivery sheet. An advice giving full particulars of any loss or damage must be sent to us at the above address so that we receive same within 3 days after delivery of the goods.
Unless these instructions are carried out we cannot hold ourselves responsible for any loss or damage in transit.
