TO RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} C. EFC. x 8672 BY/RD1/ML 25.4.27. PHANTOM DYNAMO. 28 SLOT ARMATURE - SEC:8070 & 8090. In order to try to make the dynamo quieter we are proposing to try a 28 slot armature in a similar manner to the 20 H.P. dynamo. This armature is quite standard except for the number of slots and the commutator can be adjusted by making the micas a shade thicker to compensate for the loss of one bar.
