Dear Mr. Hives,

I enclose a section of the KR4A plug for your own private information only.

You will see that the copper is brought as far forward as possible, while there is still plenty of surface insulation along the mica tube. A hole is drilled right through the copper pin and the end of the nickel splayed out into the hole, so that it is quite impossible for the nickel pin to drop out.

I hope the six plugs that we sent you are standing up successfully and hope to have your report in due course.
