GUDGEON PIN FIXING - BENTLEY ENGINE NOW BEING BUILT.

Will you please note that E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} has issued instructions in the attached note with regard to the fixing of the gudgeon pins, in view of the failure on the 10,000 miles car. The D.O. is issuing details. Will you please ensure that they get on our test bed unit which is being built up from 18. G.IV. unit, and also on the five Bentley engine which we are building.
