Packard. 77 109
Oldsmobile. 237 100 144
24.G.V1. 266 131 -
27.G.V1. - 121 224

Although B.III. has 6" free movement between the buffers while the Packard has only 3½", yet the Packard has more free movement in the bump direction because it is very close to its rebound buffer in the normal position. The Oldsmobile has 4½" of free movement 2½" being in thebump direction. Wraith has 6", 2½" being in thebump direction.

Both Wraith and B.III. go onto their bump buffers more abruptly than Packard and Olds, suggesting that we should have more taper on our buffers. The Wraith bump buffer seems to be unnecessarily hard.
