To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. c. to CJ. c. to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} EFC3/AT18.11.18. X. 294 X. 3014 X.3074.-RE LIGHTING DYNAMO FOR CHASSIS. We are now advised by Messrs. Lucas that it is quite safe to rely upon the half watt type of lamp being available. Messrs. Lucas are making up for us a sample dynamo E.575, which they hope to be able to let us have shortly. We think that as the half watt lamps will be available it is possible that this machine may be capable of giving sufficient output. This will have to be experimentally determined. Messrs. Lucas have also sent us a print of their E.60 pre-war type dynamo. We are asking them if they will let us have speed current curves of these two machines. EFC. | ||
