Harcombe}/ESS Dear Sirs, LUBRICATED FRONT SPRINGS We have your letter of the 7th inst., in reference to the two springs of the above type that we have recently supplied to drawing No. RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}729 and regret that these have been made from the wrong thickness steel. It appears that this is due to a misunderstanding in our works and we note that you are returning the springs to these works, which, upon receipt, will be rectified as soon as ever possible.
