CHASSIS COSTS PHANTOM III
CRANKSHAFTS.

Reverting to E/Lid{A. J. Lidsey}2/HP of the 9th instant and the possibility that the production of the P.III Crankshaft could be cheapened, kindly note the cost of the stampings suggested would be as follows:-

To Drawing LeC.4597 .... £9.10.0 each.
Plus part cost of Dies and Tools £700.

(PACKARD) To Drawing LeC.5230 .... £8. 5.0 each.
Plus part cost of Dies and Tools £550.

and proofs could be available in 7-8 weeks from date of receipt of order.

Our present P.III Crankshaft Stamping
Piece No. E.86165 costs .. £10. 0. 0 each.
Plus cost of Dies ............ £700.

All the above figures are for stampings normalised and de-scaled, but not heat treated.

As far as orders are concerned, we have in hand crankshafts to the present design to the end of P.III "C" Series.
