My present programme is still to tear myself away from Detroit about the 17th, go to Cleveland, Dayton, Delco Electric, Bendix Electric etc also Langley Field, then to New York to ship the car before returning here to take a final look round. I am glad Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has taken an interest in the Terraplane engine, if he keeps fit he may yet keep us from complete stagnation. This trip has been more worth while than the last. I find that the latest- V8 Ford, which has been entirely spoilt for smoothness but pepped up considerably, is about all a match for the Bentley on anything except 5 mile straights.
