WE 51 Contd. (3) Delco-Remy distributor which gave such good results when tested some time ago was then fitted. The capacity of this condenser, it will be interesting to observe, was also .23 mf. At the end of a further 40 hours running (with this condenser) it was observed that all oxidation had disappeared. A standard condenser was then fitted (.29mf) with the contact points in this well bedded, unoxidized condition, and the distributor run a further 75 hours, but the points did not remain unoxidized and the screw point at the end of the run was blue oxidized all over again. This evidence has also been corroborated by results which we have noted on two chassis (besides 24 EX) one a 20/25 chassis the points on which were unoxidized the condenser capacity being .27 mf | ||
