To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} E.R. Hall's Car - B-35-AE. We have asked the Repair to hand the gearbox of this car over to you since it is non-standard. Hall complains of the rattle of the synchromesh cones, and all we are proposing to do is fit the cure. In the ordinary way this work could be carried out by the Repair Dept. The time taken should of course be booked to the same Order Number as curing this complaint in the Repair Dept. Presumably the time will be the same. With regard to the wing, Mr. Hall has stated this was an accident and he will have to pay for having it repaired. Presumably this will not be so expensive that it will be necessary to send an estimate to Mr. Hall and get him to sign it before the work is done. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
