to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} H8 4260 EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3.18-7-25- RE GOSHAWK SUB FRAME AT BARKERS. 4260 x5580 The body for this car has been allotted and the work is going ahead but we shall shortly be held up for want of the following pieces :- The heelboard and the alum. pot over the main frame. The scuttle brackets. As these parts are essential we would be glad if we could have them sent to Messrs Barker's works as soon as possible. The body is a standard Cabriolet de Ville on a Raked Column. We shall be ready for a chassis in about three weeks from this date. As the chassis will not have to differ from the standard in any respects excepting the changes calledfor by the sub-frame, we suggest that it should be a standard Goshawk with central change but fitted with the wider dash and the sub-frame support brackets. Would Derby please inform us when they have sent the chassis. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
