This scheme also shews the cross member immediately in front of the engine with its proposed attachment to the side channels. Attention is drawn to the position of the radiator which is now .250" further forward then previously shewn. This alteration has been rendered necessary by having to provide room in front of the cross member for the radiater brackets but has the advantage of leaving more room for air flow between the cross member and the radiator matrix.
