HEAT IN DRIVING COMPARTMENT.
-------------------------

Referring to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M.7.9.32. and dealing particularly with the points raised in paragraphs 2 and 3, we wrote Sales on this matter some little time ago in regard to these matters.

On 2.12.30. to EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}'s instructions we added a sketch to the coachbuilders' chassis print showing the method of making a gas tight joint round the change speed gear. Alteration 12980
Y.

Later under cover of HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/HEB.{H. Biraben}6/M.3.9.31. we supplied a larger scale drawing F.84055 showing these proposals in detail.

We have always shown felt fitted round the pedal stems, and as this is a Works responsibility we know that it is always carried out.
