In considering the carriage accommodation of the Lanchester compared with R.R. distance from the steering wheel to the backaxle centre which gives the actual amount of room for the driver and passengers within the axles.
Measurements taken on 38 H.P.
6 cylinder Lanchester 62.25"
Measurements taken on R.R. with A Steering same as Walmsleys 67.5"
