It should also be remembered we in England had adopted a 14 tooth pinion for the very heavy cars, that they ought to prepare at least to adopt the 15 tooth pinion for cars of ordinary weight, there being such improvement in acceleration and hill climbing on the top gear.
16/52 we consider too high a gear for even a light car with open body.
