-2- It was considered that we might make use of the good features by trying a number of boxes fitted with Cadillac continuous and second gears, the remainder of the gears to be RR type. To date we have had approximately 15 boxes built in this manner, of which 12 have been passed. During the past week there have been 16 gear boxes rejected for various faults. Although the gear box position is showing signs of improvement, it cannot be considered that the problem of producing good Phantom III boxes has been solved. | ||
