Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Mx. {John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} X46d8 Mx {John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} 16/T11.1.34. CONTROLLED SHOCK DAMPERS. I have just tried 22-EX with the altered loading. I think the effect is much more pleasing than the arrangement we now have on Production Chassis. The only criticism I have to make is that I think the car rides hard at low speeds, say 10 to 35 m.p.h. with control in the minimum position, and I feel that under these conditions it would not be satisfactory as a town carriage.
