COMPARISON OF 40/50 HP. CARS. X4299

Referring to our conversation on the above matter, we shall be pleased to hear that you are able to arrange to make a comparative test between the open Trials Car which you are running and 1.EX Car which is fitted with a 14-tooth axle.
We consider 1.EX Car with the 14-tooth axle is the best car for speed and acceleration up to 65 to 70 M.P.H. that we have ever tested. We are of the opinion that this axle would make the car much more desirable to certain classes of our customers. We consider it will enable us to make a better show against modern cars which all have lower gears than we are using. We consider that for you to run 1.EX Car over the same course as your own Trials car would be the most satisfactory way of proving the advantages and disadvantages of the 14-tooth axle. Tests on Brooklands do not tell us much because our cars are not used under that condition.
We can arrange to have 1.EX Car ready any time next week.
