Would you please prepare a new conn. rod and eccentric for the SS.{S. Smith} test engine as per following dimensions. Eccentric 2.435 - 1/2 dia. Conn. rod brg. 2.437 + 1/2 dia. This will give us clearance of .002" to .003". The minimum clearance of 1/2 thou. given on the drawing is insufficient to deal with the expansion of the bronze eccentric when the engine is hot.
