CAR - 9-G-111; X5770 We are sending to you tomorrow 9-G-111 car which will arrive at Conduit Street about midday. This car is fitted with the following features :- (1) Latest 20 HP. steering with outside pendulum lever. This steering has been standardised and will be fitted to production cars shortly. (2) The springs in the side steering tube are those which have been standardised for this type of steering and are similar to those fitted to Mr. Guy Knowles's car. (3) The cross steering tube has spring loaded balls. There is no friction in the pivots. (4) Thermometer with wraning light. (5) Petrol level gauge on dashboard. This gauge is being handled in England by H.M.Hobson. (6) This car is fitted with hydraulic dampers - front and rear. (7) 5¼" tyres - 35 lbs. pressure. (8) The engine has high compression pistons. We recommend you run this car with 50% Benzole to avoid detonation. We should be glad if you will let us know when you will have finished with this car so that we can arrange to collect it.
