In reply to your memo WOR{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/SM10/L15114, we have asked Messrs Barker & Co to try and obtain the owners opinion of the Starter and approximately how long it has been fitted to the car. At the request of Mr Nadin we had three views of the Starter photographed and I send you a mounted print of each view which you may retain. On 26-1-14 I had a short run on car. The starter is rather noisy in working and would not start cold engine on magneto but did so on battery. The machine easily started the engine off magneto when warm. The special batteries for the Starter and Dynamo I believe were not in first class condition when we were on car. I am sending some prints to Mr Nadin also. Enc. Photos.
