.825 LEAD STEERING NUTS.

Although R.{Sir Henry Royce} has expressed a wish that the 825 steering should be brought in as soon as possible, it will be some little time before we can test this out experimentally and get it standardised. We shall naturally do this as quickly as possible but there is no doubt that some time will elapse apart from the period required to manufacture the new pieces satisfactorily.
We therefore would suggest that the 940 lead steerings in progress should be completed.
In our opinion the 940 conversion steering is a very good proposition and should satisfy 95% of the people who complain. It is really only exceptional cases such as that of Geoffrey Summers, which have brought about the further modification to the 825 lead. These isolated cases can always be dealt with when the 825 lead comes on to production.
