Dear Sirs,

We expect to complete your Order No. 67790 for 205 Delco-Remy Distributors by the middle of next week.

In a recent communication from your Buying Department we were requested to see that continuity of supplies was maintained, and if we are to interpret this as an indication that you may be requiring regular quantities after completion of the above-mentioned order, it is necessary that action be taken promptly in regard to supplies of materials, etc., for a further quantity.

As you are aware, we have changed over to a hardened cam at your special request, and we should like to express our appreciation of the assistance rendered by your Engineering Department in checking the cam hardness of stocks sent and arranged for this purpose. A considerable number of cams have, as you are doubtless aware, been scrapped due to the insufficient hardness necessary for use in conjunction with the Tufnol heel material.

We shall be obliged if you will kindly let us know your wishes with regard to further supplies, and at the same time as to whether the special coils which have been submitted for test to Mr. Childs are
