RE. ALTERATIONS TO 10-EX SPORTS BODY. X8830

With reference to C36/C30.12.26. It is necessary that the proposed modifications to this body, in order to make it satisfactory for a high speed car, should be carried out.

We are of the opinion that Barkers estimate for the cost of this work is excessively high. We consider that for experimental cars, Barkers should not expect to make any profit out of bodies. The information which is given to them for making these bodies is passed on to them and therefore we think it is only right that they should meet us as regards the cost.
