Dear Sir,

X.1361 DYNAMO FOR CAR LIGHTING. X.1402

We have to thank you for your letter of yesterday's date, reference BY5/P14.3.19, giving certain information in regard to the Car lighting Generator that you require.
This will enable us to proceed with our preliminary designs although I would like to point out at this stage, to prevent false hopes being raised, that we only have in mind at the present moment the design of machine regulated on the Tirrell principle, and we cannot give any definite assurance that the Company will be prepared to launch out in this direction and manufacture apparatus of this kind. A decision in regard to this point with naturally have to be left over until our opportunity of investigating the manufacturing and commercial possibilities of this line of apparatus.

Yours faithfully,

(Signed) A.{Mr Adams} YOUNG.
