Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} [REDACTED] BY.4/G.24.2.39. CHILDS IGNITION DISTRIBUTOR. 6119 We have read with interest Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}1/G.14.2.39. and agree that further investigation must be made to discover why we get uneven spark distribution. The initial setting referred to in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Potts 12.4.38. could not be accommodated owing to lack of room and an alternative was provided; a withdrawing tool will be available if found necessary to make adjustments on the cam. This type of distributor can have alternative methods of control, see LeC.5756 and D.CD.1182. D.CD.838 distributor is now built up and provides the clamp type adjustment and vernier control will be added. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
