-2- The acceleration was better than that of our own car but did not seem comparable with the Lincoln that we drove in America, certainly it is not as good as that of the 12 cyl. Cadillac. However, this demonstration car is over 12 months old. It must be remembered that the Lincoln is a side valve engine. It was interesting to note that this car had been fitted with Andre Tele-control dampers. Our objection to purchasing this Lincoln is that we do not consider its performance a satisfactory standard with which to compare our product which will not be in production for two or three years.
