Phantom III Tyres.

A tyre has now been evolved for the Ph.III which as far as preliminary tests go appears to overcome the tyre noise problem, and at the same time is likely to have a reasonable life.

These tyres have been approved of by Sales and at the present moment are fitted to 32-EX, which is the 15,000 miles car.

The tyres are known as 7 x 18 Fort '90' moulded with the tie-bar between the shoulder studs, and are marked with a distinguishing number 'S.O.6529', which appears on the sidewall of the cover near to the serial number.

Will you please arrange for these tyres to be ordered for production in hand-to-mouth quantities, while confirmatory tests are in progress. This cancels the instructions to order the R.{Sir Henry Royce} type Dunlop 90 tyre.
