87960 RECEIVED 4 JUL 1931 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} PN.{Mr Northey}13/WT7.6.31. S/W. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}..from PN.{Mr Northey} Regarding GNS-5 which you returned to London. When you asked for the Maythorn Trials 25 H.P. on the 27th June, with a view to the fly-wheel-bearing experiment, we had no reason to think you referred to GNS-2 which was sold on the 10th June. With regard to GNS-2 and the last par. of your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/MJ3.7.31. However bad this car might have been for trials purposes, we did not sell it out of this consideration actually, but because after the return of a similar car from the Riviera, we did not wish to run two of the same type of 25 H.P. on demonstration work.
