EXPERIMENTAL REPORT.
left the drums .200" thick with the understanding that it would be an easy operation to get the section reduced at our Paris Dept. if it was found necessary. They have run one of the cars to the Paris Depot and have reduced the section of the brake drums to .150". The jaggers now have practically disappeared. There has been only one instance of it occurring. The efficiency of the front brakes has been reduced slightly by this modification.
(3) There are complaints on both cars of the water boiling. This occurs even when the shutters are wide open and the Fan Belt tight. This occurs running on the level.
(4) There are complaints on one car of low speed steering wobbles. it may be necessary to add more friction to the pivots.
