CC Mr. Belnap Mr. Nadin Oy2 - G 1921 Sept. 1, 1921 Mr. Claude Johnson, Managing Director, Rolls-Royce Ltd., London, England. Attention: F.H.Royce & Works Committee. Dear Sir:- Re: Parts on 4-EX Control Switch (Replying to R1/G 17.6.21) In continuation of my letter Oy1/G19.8.21, we now find it is unnecessary to make any special provision for an inspection lamp. The standard American practice is to fit the inspection lamp plug in one of the two instrument board light sockets and the inspection lamps are all supplied with plugs for this purpose. The cowls on instrument board lights are all made removable for this purpose. Where the instrument board lights are supplied with a switch that stays on like that used on the Delco control switch-box, we think this is quite a convenient way of attaching the inspection lamp.
