29th. November 1937.

Messrs. Clayton Dewandre Co. Ltd.,
Titanic works,
Lincoln.

For the attention of Mr. E.Willet.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of 26th. inst. and for the quotations contained therein - in the event of any decision being made to standardise heaters on Rolls-Royce cars we will certainly bear your figures in mind.

With regard to the two heaters which we have recently ordered and received, the switch of the CC type is giving trouble and we shall be much obliged if you will send us a new one to replace it, we will then return the faulty one to you. At present the switch only operates in the full on position.

The last three heaters which we have received have all been very tight - i.e. the rheostat would not control them correctly until the brush gear was dismantled and eased.

Mr. Blomeley promised to let us have a quotation for the Bosch combined heater and defroster. we shall be interested to receive this at your convenience.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
