AUTO KLEEN FILTER, SCROLL CLUTCH DEVICE REPLACED BY RATCHET FREEWHEEL. Origin. To thoroughly filter the oil in crankcase. Experimental Test Report. Fitted to 24-EX. Filtering of oil satisfactory. Road Test Report. Fitted to 24-EX and ran 10,000 miles. The operation of ratchet freewheel was OK. Slight leak of oil from the gland packing. Filtering of oil very good, sludge and foreign matter being collected in the retainer. Decision: [X] A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers.
