Re: Two Gallon Reserve in Autovac.

With the reversion to the two gallon reserve in the rear tank, we are reducing the quantity of petrol trapped by the stand pipe in the autovac to 2 pints, this being adequate to draw the fuel from the rear tank.

The object of this move is to lessen the chance of starvation when the car is driven full throttle and the vacuum pump cannot keep pace with the engine requirements.

The new height of the stand pipe should be 1.50" above the base of the tank inside. Please ensure that the instruction book is amended when the alteration is made.
