R.{Sir Henry Royce} has asked what has prevented the introduction of the improved shutter and carb. controls. (N.sch.2035) for Phantom being standardised in place of the present rather large and expensive design. The design was sent to you in July 1925. It has been several 10,000 miles tests, and was seen by Sales on 12-EX. We do not appear to have received a report and would therefore be glad to hear how the job stands. We are aware that CWB. has offered comments on the appearance, but we have not had the views of the Sales conference.
