X.4333 - GOSHAWK DYNAMO BRUSHES.

We have today received from the Morganite Co.
seven brushes to D.50301 in their Link C.M. 5 quality.
We therefore now have for trial on the Goshawk
dynamos, the following grades :-

Le Carbone C.G.3.
" " X
" " O (or Z)

Morganite E.G.O.
" H.M.6.
" C.M.3. [strikethrough]
" C.M.5.

Dynamo No.1 fitted to 4 Gos.II (R's car) has brushes of grade O or Z (?)

No.2. Dynamo fitted to 5 Gos.II (Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}'s trials car) is fitted with C.G.3 brushes. ?

Dynamo No.3. fitted to 6 Gos.II (second trials car) is fitted with C.G.3 main brushes and E.G.O. control brush.

Dynamo No.4 which was received by us fitted with grade X brushes will be fitted with whichever is found to be most suitable of the X, H.M.6 & C.M.5 grades.
